Our story
How much larger could your world become in another language?
For Tayyaba A. Ahmad, learning languages has always meant discovering more ways to think, understand and belong. That fascination eventually became German with Tayyaba, where learning German is structured and purposeful, but also engaging, conversational and deeply connected to the world beyond the classroom.
More than a decade of experience in German language education shapes what happens here. Tayyaba holds the Goethe-Institut’s Grünes Diplom qualification in teaching German as a Foreign Language, is a Goethe examiner and teacher trainer, and served as Head of Language Department at the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus, Goethe-Zentrum Lahore. Her experience shapes a classroom where learners build strong language skills while learning to question, make connections and gradually find their own voice in German.
Harimanz is the larger idea that German with Tayyaba belongs to. It reflects a love of language, learning, people, place and the world around us — and the belief that education can make life feel richer, wider and more connected. German with Tayyaba is its first expression: a community where that philosophy takes shape through language, conversation and shared learning. As the community grows, Harimanz can grow with it, creating space for new ideas, experiences and ways of learning over time.

We believe learning should be visible, not vague. Every level has a clear standard, every course builds on the one before it, and every student should be able to point to exactly how far they have come. Growth is not a mood here. It is tracked, tested and earned.

Learning that asks for your attention
German is not learned by half-watching a video while doing something else. Our classes are small, live and deliberately unhurried, built so that students arrive, focus and leave having actually spoken, listened and thought in German, not just sat through it.

The person behind the name
Meet Tayyaba Anwaar Ahmad
German with Tayyaba is led by Tayyaba Anwaar Ahmad, a Goethe-certified C2 instructor and Goethe examiner with over a decade of teaching experience. She holds the Grünes Diplom from the Goethe-Institut Germany, awarded in cooperation with Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and is DLL 1 to 6 certified.
Recognised at the International German Teachers’ Day, Tayyaba built this school on a conviction she formed early in her own career: that most students do not fail German, they fail an approach to German that was never designed around how people actually learn a language.
Her role as an examiner shapes everything taught here. Every course, every mock test and every piece of feedback is built with a working knowledge of what earns marks and what quietly loses them, so students walk into their exam having already seen it from the inside.
How we got here
The journey so far

A teacher becomes an examiner
Tayyaba trains in Germany, earns her Goethe-Institut credentials and begins examining candidates herself, learning first-hand where students consistently lose marks.

German with Tayyaba opens its first batch
A small, level-based German programme launches in Pakistan, built around structured CEFR courses, live instruction and exam preparation from day one.

Word spreads, standards hold
Demand grows through referrals and school partnerships, including Beaconhouse, Gulberg Campus, but batch sizes stay small and every level keeps the same rigour.
04
Counselling becomes part of the offering
As more students set their sights on studying and working in Germany, free counselling sessions are added to guide learners through visas, Ausbildung and university pathways.

What comes next
German with Tayyaba continues to grow deliberately, one level, one partnership and one student at a time, with language as the foundation for everything still ahead.
